On April 14th, 2025, the Halifax North West Community Council approved the Development Agreement for 3124/3136 Highway 2 Fall River to allow for the redevelopment of the property for 12 townhomes. This decision aligns with the Fall River Secondary Planning Strategy and will contribute to a growing diversity of housing types within the Fall River community. This project was developed according to John MacDonald’s vision for community members who ideally wish to downsize but remain their beloved Fall River, or for new families wishing to join the community.
